Welcome to Mountcastle Miniature Horses
The name of our farm is a tribute to our English (Scottish?) ancestors, Monty and Betta Mountcastle. The farm is situated on ten lovely acres in the Southwest corner of Washington State right next to the Pacific Ocean. Although our town is small, one will find it difficult to find a more picturesque and peaceful area.
Our goal is to breed horses that are consistently winning in both halter and performance. Each show can be extremely subjective and therefore should not be the sole basis on determining a horse's quality. Consistent top places under different judges and against the best competition available, however, is a fantastic way to determine if our breeding program is heading in the right direction.
