Miniature horses are very versatile.  Some people have them solely as pets and companions, some use them for much more.  From pleasure driving to in-hand jumping, from halter obstacle to harness racing, the Miniature Horse is truly "The Horse for everyone (The American Miniature Horse Association)."
 

    Mountcastle Miniature Horses loves to show just how much fun and versatile these little equines are.  While there are many other things to do with Minis, we concentrate on the driving aspect.  We compete in breed shows, we pleasure drive, we participate in volunteer projects, and we do promotion for the breed.

    There is NOTHING better than a nice, quiet, relaxing drive on the beach, with the waves crashing, the Seagulls cawing, the soothing breeze...  But.... Wait!!!  What's that?  The COPS!  "Run Rudy, run! They're closing in on us!" 

 

    They DID "pull us over", and admonish us to stay off the clam beds.   Whoops!
