Rudy is a silver bay gelding.  He was foaled in 1991, and is 34" tall. Rudy is registered with both the AMHA and the AMHR. We got him in 1994 and he will live with us forever. After all,  he's the one who "started it all!"

    Kari and Rudy showed for two years in 4-H, competing at the state level, and then chose to pursue solely the breed shows (his favorite class was obstacle driving).  But then Rudy developed a severe case of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, a respiratory problem), and his showing career with Kari came to a screeching halt.  
 

 

    Though they miss showing together, Rudy and Kari have pursued other avenues.  They drive almost constantly, whether it's on the roads around their home in Raymond, the beach in Long Beach, Washington, or Long Beach itself.  They've also done some charity work for Habitat for Humanity, numerous parades, and appeared at Raymond Elementary.
